amphibious vehicle

How would you like to drive an open-top underwater car?

Squba, a car that can be driven underwater is set to be unveiled at the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show. It has been developed by Swiss company Rinspeed.

A James Bond enthusiast, the head of the Rinspeed Frank Rinderknecht, had always dreamt of making an amphibious vehicle similar to the submersive Lotus Espirit from the Spy Who Loved Me film.

The squba transforms into an underwater vehicle in which passengers breathe with the help of compressed air masks. Propelled by electric motors, the convertible sports car can descend up to 10 meters underwater.

Wow. I guess you need to be an open water diver too before you can drive this car.
